About the event
This is an inter club development event aimed at giving fencers a positive experience with quality referees and smooth running. This event is suitable for fencers new to competition or for fencers that have already experienced competitions. The event should not last more than 3 hours and the fencers will get lots of fencing.
Membership
British Fencing membership required. Starter membership minimum www.bf.sport80.com
Equipment
Equipment can be provided by PSA but bringing own equipment is preferred. Some equipment can be bought from the club shop. Better if ordered in advance to avoid disappointment. admin@premiersabreacademy.co.uk
All bouts will be fenced on electric wired and wireless scoring equipment.
All fencers must wear minimum 350N jacket & breeches and knee length socks

U12 - Size 2
U14 - Size 2
Format
One round of Pools followed by Elimination bouts while fencing off for places. Events will be mixed.
U10 - Pool fights to 4 hits and DE to to 8 hits with break at 4.
U12 - Pool fights to 5 hits and DE to 10 hits with break at 5.
U14 - Pool fights to 5 hits and DE to 12 hits with break at 6.
Spectators info
This is learning competition for fencers and parents but because of space constraints. No parents will be allowed in the fencing hall. Referees and Coaches will give the fencers all the help they need. We have a seating area and baggage area. Results will be updated online on FencingTimeLive.
Events will be mixed depending on entry numbers.
